More about this evening Workshop: You're invited to come learn how to work with the power of sound and vibration... The sacred drum is a powerful "resonator" instrument and so is our own voice... our "words" and our "beingness" hold vibrational energy and frequency even when they're positive or negative... The law of attraction "like-attracts-like" is absolute (and has nothing to do with personalities). No one lives beyond this law, for it is the law of the universe. "We
create by feeling, not by thought... When we learn how to mindfully focus on what we want to create or manifest (positive thought) and then empower and drive that focus along with the sacred drum and power of our spoken word through positive expression (feeling and emotion), the source/universe responds like-attracts-like "vibration" back to us....
Come spend an evening with weaver exploring various sound techniques with the sacred drum & our voice. We will specifically explore mantra seed sounds (chakra clearing) that come from the ancient Sanskrit - one of the oldest languages known... weaver will also share ancient manifesting sounds and mantra(s) that can assist to bring more abundance & prosperity into our lives when practiced regularly and mindfully. Come prepared to sing & chant together while drumming within sacred space.
What to bring to the workshop... Bring your own drums (any type) and rattles, (or any other resonator instrument you work with ie: crystal bowl, etc), some water to drink, a small stone for prayer/intentions, something sacred or special to you to share on the central altar if you wish, and your mesa (bundle), if you carry one.
NOTE: The space will be prepared with smudging of cedar and white sage and/or palos santos incense prior to the event beginning, not during... we will smudge for each other with dry cedar boughs - no smoke...
• Also, a limited number of drums will be available for rent @ $5 each (payable on the night of the event... please register for a drum by emailing Heathir here prior to event so weaver knows how many to bring... thanks! ...There will also be available some shakers & rattles, etc., if you don't wish to drum... • note: We will begin smudging & opening sacred space @ 7:30 sharp! Let us join together with all indigenous nations around the world in calling for justice - for healing. ** According to a Sacred Prophecy revealed at the Otomi Ceremonial Center by Otomi Elder Sages, the day when the sounds of 8,000 Sacred Drums join together is the beginning of the healing of Mother Earth. It is time to unify ourselves to rediscover the seeds of the Four Directions - to reactivate cosmic energy, heal historical wounds. It's time to respect life, liberty and the dignity of Our Peoples.
