Let us gather together in community to celebrate & honour the Celtic New Year during the 11-11-11 and time of Samhain - This time of the year is a time when the veils are thinnest - the most sacred time of the year to acknowledge and honour our elders, ancestors and those who have recently passed... including a welcoming for our newly born!

The winter quarter of Samhain brings the gifts of restoration and renewal, as the cold weather closes in and our blessed earth mother is coming to rest, so the soul is led to more reflective depths. It is traditionally associated with the remembrance of the ancestors, with the coming of death and the conception of new life.

In the human growth cycle, Samhain corresponds to the period of old age when wisdom, freedom of spirit and clarity are experienced.

Samhain is a good time to celebrate the lives of all wise elders, all those whose actions and ideas have brought resolution and peace, all holy ones whose sacrifice have brought new life and opened spiritual thresholds to all.

This special night we will be blesed with the presence of our ayllu community sacred drum, windwalker - who is journeying down with our ayllu sisters from her home in Kamloops, BC to be with us during Spring Equinox and the 8000 Sacred Drums Ceremony that is happening all over the world during this time in 2012.

This ceremony circle, we will sound windwalker together in sacred heart-song in community prayer for our blessed earth mother - her healing and all her children. We will also create a despacho (prayer mandala bundle) that will be burned at a sacred fire in Victoria on Equinox.

Sacred Drumming for Prosperity & Abundance

You're invited to come learn how to work with the power of sound and vibration...

The sacred drum is a powerful "resonator" instrument and so is our own voice... our "words" and our "beingness" hold vibrational energy and frequency even when they're positive or negative...

The law of attraction "like-attracts-like" is absolute (and has nothing to do with personalities). No one lives beyond this law, for it is the law of the universe.

That's right, we get what we get by the way we feel,
not by trying to slug things into place

When we learn how to mindfully focus on what we want to create or manifest (positive thought) and then empower and drive that focus along with the sacred drum and power of our spoken word through positive expression (feeling and emotion), the source/universe responds like-attracts-like "vibration" back to us....

Come spend an evening with weaver exploring various sound techniques with the sacred drum & our voice. We will specifically explore mantra seed sounds (chakra clearing) that come from the ancient Sanskrit - one of the oldest languages known...

weaver will also share ancient manifesting sounds and mantra(s) that can assist to bring more abundance & prosperity into our lives when practiced regularly and mindfully.

Come prepared to sing & chant together while drumming within sacred space.

Again, the Otomi elders of Mexico will be holding annual ceremonies to gather as many sacred drummers together all around the globe to continue the fulfillment of their 500-year old prophecy with the powerful intention to open healing of our blessed earth mother - please join us by gathering together and/or drumming wherever you are at this time!

Organize in YOUR Area! It doesn't take much... Register your drums and then just pick a spot to meet and invite people to bring their drums or drum wherever you are on your own... and after creating sacred space (calling in the sacred directions) offer a prayer and a smudge:

1) Sing a prayer song, honour song for all peoples, our earth mother, our environment, our children...
2) or, if there's just a few of you, each person can share a prayer and a song - make your own event sacred with mindfullness and respect...
3) or, on your own? Offer a prayer and then drum that prayer within your heart - holding the vision of a present "healed-state" for our earth mother and all her children...
4) At pow wows, organizers can pick a time for all drums to come together. You can use sweetgrass, sage, juniper, tobacco, cedar, water, incense, light a candle - be mindful within sacred space asking for the helper spirits for protection...

The music person creates and executes the entire flow, energy and movement of this celebration.

I was blessed to be able to work with carol, a wonderful, compassionate and gifted woman who brought her sacred sound from within to mingle with the ancient and power generating powers of the drums.

In 2006 our theme for the conference was Creating Sacred Space and in 2008 it was Nurturing Spirit: Self-Community-Earth. Carol taught and sang songs and chants from diverse faith and spiritual traditions which was inspirational, soul searching, compassionate and celebratory!!!!

Carol has the gift of rising to the occasion and tailors the music to fit the occasion. I wish the Divine to bless her as she continues to be a joy to all who are touched by her love and music."
