“weaver's voice and drum are one with her heart. I have been transformed by her playing. Her strong voice calms, quiets, and stirs me. She is a light. The planet seems to resonate as she chants. The rhythms she channels are the heart beat of the mother. Her sacred drums' sing and bring blessings to many." --Eva Rose, Maine, USA
weaver, visual artist, poet, musician, dreamer...

I birthed my first sacred drum over 30 years ago... and, i cried through most of that day... it was definitely a big birth for me... to step through + in to my becoming, on my knees...
And— unfortunately i’m no longer able to offer this work as i can’t physically do it anymore. My body is saying ‘no’ and i’ve moved on to other creative pursuits. Life has a funny way of shifting one’s path eh? However, the spirit drum will not let me go.. as i’m finding this work is evolving for me on another deeper level yet again. So, with saying that, I am dreaming a dear drum into being when I am called to do so.
I have been walking an earth-keeper ‘animistic’ path since early child-hood... as spirit and my ancestors have called + continue to guide me. I was born in Prince George, BC (Lheidli T'enneh Territory). My ancestral roots are Celtic, (Scottish Highlands/Ireland), Slavic, Hungarian/Russian. Fourteen days later i was adopted + grew up on a small settler farm/community, south of Vancouver on the mud-flats of East Delta, BC (Boundary Bay, Tsawwassen Territory).
It was from living + playing upon this sacred flat landscape, big open sky, along with 'Apu' Mount Baker in my back yard that taught me to see in beauty ways...
My childhood was spent out in the backfields communing with the winds, big open sky, the clouds and the beings (seen/unseen) who resided there... i would lie on my back, arm/legs outstretched and lay there for hours... knowing that i was held in some way... now, i know by my true Mother—our blessed earth Mother...
I now choose to walk softly (as best i can) upon our beautiful earth mother’s back… still offering art + music including writing poetry… and, a book of poetry is in the works, among other cool stuff—so, do stay tuned!
In my early 30s, I was initiated into the healing world of Reiki and now hold a 3rd level degree as Reiki Master (Usui system). Since my late teens, I have also worked with and have been initiated by many teachers within the animistic/earth-based path—continuing with my personal studies in my ancestral Celtic/Slavic realms for personal healing, which also informs my art and music deeply.

I also embrace the creative soul 'i am'... as multi-faceted sacred drummer, singer-songwriter, drum-dreamer and visual artist.
I’ve been enjoying the exploration of atmospheric watercolours that i call, ‘colourwaters’… i’ve been particularly loving working small + in the abstract form. Please feel free to view a slide show of some of my past + present work on my colourwaters page—which i will update as i create new work.
with hopes you enjoy…
and, feel free to connect with me anytime.

"weaver's voice and presence is exquisite and deeply healing." —Linda Nardelli., Sunshine Coast, BC
"Carol, this beloved woman is such a gentle warm individual who can really open you up through sound, providing you with an opportunity to reset, let go of what no longer serves you or be with your own being. The accompaniment serves the whole experience so well to help ground one out, cajole the group energy together or create a space to process some of the learnings from the day." —Iain M., Abbotsford, BC
"I just love the way weaver holds space and conducts ceremony. She is so casual without all the theatrical BS you find elsewhere. She stands fully in her power, in complete integrity, and she is so humble about it. I always feel heard, seen, and supported." —Uli S., Delta, BC
"the earth is alive and she sings, calling us to remember our sacred place
and our dance in this life... she calls us to recognize that all of us walk around the sacred wheel, that whatever tradition we have come from, we can all trace our roots back to the tree of peace."
