RAW - A Juried Group Show
October 8 to November 2, 2024 @ Free Spirit Gallery Studio & Shop on Gabriola, 590 North Road (running over our annual Thanksgiving Studio Tour - (see link below for more info) I’m thrilled to be chosen to be part of this show! Come see a recent red drum daf i birthed + all the other fine work! In a world of AI generated imagery, cheap mass production, drive for perfection, filters, this exhibition looks to celebrate the handmade. The celebration of raw natural materials, approaches to creative process that celebrate the imperfections. Authenticity. Raw emotional exploration. The use of non-traditional art materials and substrates. Found materials. Different perspectives.
