on july 12th, a few of us gathered to remember Shaari + friends...
Two days before Shaari's birthday (July 14th, 2018), four of us gathered at 'Volunteer Park' near Kits beach in Vancouver. We first gather at 'East is East' to share a yummy meal together... where we shared memories of Abe's interesting food + beverage choices and many memories of all. It was wonder-full to be together once again in over 20 years!
After dinner, we headed down to the beach to be near the ocean - as we know being near mother ocean was a favourite place for Shaari... Together we created + opened sacred space in circle... We drummed + sang inviting the sacred directions and our helpers to join us... and shared many fond and beautiful memories together... We also read out a lovely letter written by a dear friend who couldn't join us... The sacred drum was sounded and we sang + hummed together... We also read out a part of the Ho'oponopono prayer... As the beautiful sun was setting... We took turns at the water's edge to offer prayers and flowers to the rolling waves for Shaari... Thank you dear Shaari + friends for being such an important part of our lives for so long... We truly miss you with much love + light!

I found the below mp3 files on my computer recently... and, it was such a joy to hear Shaari's voice again - which took me right back to the years we all gathered together... i always loved how beautiful her meditations were... many tears flowed + healing came once again... i hope enjoy hearing Shaari + her friend's voices... weaver x (((o)))

the beginning... on sacred gabriola island... full circle...
Below, are some photos i took when i went to offer some ceremony and say goodbye on Thursday, March 22nd (World Water Day) - to lay flowers in despacho (a sacred gift of love + prayer)... to give deep thanks + appreciation for knowing dear Shaari... at the Malaspina Galleries, Gabriola Island... Perhaps the very place + beach where she 'walked in' to her time on beautiful Terra Blue many years ago...
My last contact with Shaari was last June 2017, when i had asked her what beach it was on Gabriola that she 'walked in' ... she told me it was the first beach to the right of the Retreat Centre (The Haven) if one was out on the water facing the island... After being back in the galleries today, i asked my guidance if this was indeed the place, then muscle-tested and got a strong confirmed 'yes' a few times... perhaps...... x (((o)))

a chant weaver wrote with her big drum, 'laughing wolf'.... years ago, in outdoor ceremony, the words channeled directly from the heart of the mother up and through weaver + out through her sacred drum...
